Lyrics 'On Your Own Again'

The song which the members of Mox Pox and myself have chosen to film a video for is 'On Your Own Again' one of the bands newest tracks, written by lead guitarist and vocalist Josh Harbord. Below are the lyrics in which will help me determine the story behind the video I film.

No destination, no transportation,
Out there on your own again

Your teary eyes are drying up, your on the verge of giving up,
Out there on your own again

Don't try and charm the birds from the trees,
Your a listener who don't tend to speak,
Out there on your own again

Late night dancing, all night romancing, all seems a distant dream
The rhythm of your heart, the touch of your sleeve,
All seems like a distant dream

No destination, no transportation
Out there on your own again

Pale walls are closing in, lights turned off it's getting dim,
Out there on your own again

The mystery speaker has spoken, all his promises have been broken,
Out there on your own again

Late night dancing, all night romancing,
It all seems like a distant dream
The rhythm of your heart the touch of your sleeve,
All seems like a distant dream

No destination, no transportaion,
Out there on your own again

  1. Based on the lyrics, is there a narrative you are planning to convey in your film? Or, if not, how will you link the lyrics to the film?

You could add a reference to either Maslow or Uses & Grats. theory here too.
